About
I like figuring things out.
I'm Selina, the person behind Margarita Mondays.
I work with established businesses to solve growth, marketing, digital, sales and customer experience problems — particularly when the answer isn't obvious or doesn't fit neatly into one box.
I like getting underneath what's happening, working out what actually needs fixing and finding the smartest way forward.
What makes sense for the business.

Like a great idea hatched over cocktails.
Margarita Mondays is built around a pretty simple idea: Good ideas don't always arrive in a boardroom.
Sometimes the best thinking happens when you step outside the day-to-day, ask better questions and look at the problem differently.
That's what I try to bring to a business — fresh perspective, commercial thinking and enough distance to see things that are difficult to spot when you're in the middle of them. Then turn the thinking into something useful.
Strategy is only useful if you can do something with it.
I'm interested in the point where thinking meets doing. I don't want to hand over a strategy that looks impressive and then sits in a folder.
Sometimes my job is to find the opportunity. Sometimes it's to create the strategy. And sometimes it's rolling up my sleeves and helping make it happen — rebuilding a website, rethinking a customer journey, untangling sales and marketing systems or getting a project that's been stuck moving again.
That means I can move between the bigger picture and the detail without losing sight of why we're doing it in the first place.
I don't really believe in marketing in isolation.
Marketing touches too much of the business. A brilliant campaign won't fix a bad sales process. A beautiful website won't help if customers can't work out what to buy. More leads won't solve poor follow-up. A new CRM won't fix a process nobody has thought through. And technology isn't automatically progress.
So I tend to look across the whole journey:
- Growth
- Strategy
- Marketing
- Digital
- Sales
- Systems
- Customer experience
Then work out where the real problem — or opportunity — sits.
Usually, there's already a good business underneath it.
I particularly like working with established businesses. Businesses with customers, history, people who know their industry and plenty that's already working.
They don't necessarily need reinvention. They might need to modernise. Simplify. Connect things that have grown apart. Find the next opportunity. Or finally tackle something everyone knows could be better.
That's a very different challenge from starting with a blank sheet of paper — and usually a much more interesting one.
No predetermined answer.
I don't have a platform I'm required to recommend. I don't make more money because you spend more on media. I don't need every problem to turn into a website project. And I'm not particularly interested in adding technology simply because it's new.
The question is: What's the right way to solve this for this business?
Sometimes that's ambitious. Sometimes it's surprisingly simple. Both are fine.
Curious about what's next.
The way businesses market, sell and serve customers is changing quickly. AI is part of that — from how people search and discover businesses to how teams work, automate processes, analyse information and create better customer experiences.
I'm interested in where new technology creates genuine business advantage, not where it simply creates another thing to implement.
That means keeping up with what's changing, testing it and asking the same question I ask about everything else: Is there actually a better way to do this?
Margarita Mondays is based in Port Macquarie and the Mid North Coast of NSW, working with established businesses across Australia and beyond. Projects can be strategic, hands-on or somewhere in between.
